Marketing: essential choices
The marketing website stores flitten-consent-v1 in localStorage to remember your cookie preference. The choice expires after 180 days and is checked on a later visit. This is browser storage, rather than a cookie. If storage is unavailable, the website remains usable and may ask again.
Optional motion preference
If you choose Allow preferences, flitten-motion-v1 in localStorage remembers whether you selected reduced motion for page and product animations. Choosing Essential only removes this optional value. A motion change still works for the current page without saving it. Your device’s reduced-motion setting is respected regardless of this choice.
There are no marketing analytics cookies or advertising cookies installed. Accepting preferences does not authorize tracking or enable hidden analytics.
Product sign-in cookies
Prompts and Pages each use their own first-party authentication cookies for the session, sign-in security checks, callback navigation, PKCE verification, and OAuth state. Sessions have a configured lifetime of up to seven days; short-lived sign-in checks generally last up to 15 minutes.
Pages cookie names start with flitten-pages; secure production names use the __Host- prefix. Prompts uses authjs names on local HTTP and __Host-flitten-prompts names on configured HTTPS deployments. Cookies are scoped to the product host. Marketing choices do not sign you in or combine product accounts.
Other essential product storage
Prompts can use short-lived state cookies for its separate AI authorization and a short-lived administrative support session. Demo services have been removed.
Any additional product browser storage that saves an active workspace or interface state is functional storage for the product, not advertising tracking. Clearing browser storage can sign you out, discard interface preferences.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use Cookie settings in the marketing footer at any time. The settings dialog lets you save an essential-only choice, remove optional preference storage, or change motion preferences. You can also delete cookies and localStorage through your browser settings. Blocking essential product cookies can prevent sign-in.
Websites hosted on Pages
A website published by a Pages user can contain its own third-party scripts, embeds, cookies, or browser storage. Those are controlled by that publisher, who must provide the required notices and obtain any required consent. The Flitten marketing preference is not shared with hosted websites.
Resources browser storage
Resources can use local browser storage for reader appearance, reading progress, tool settings and saved selections. No advertising cookies or ad-blocker overlay are installed. Browser storage can be cleared in your browser settings, which also resets those preferences.
