Your input files, documents, passwords, or computational data are never transmitted, uploaded, stored, or processed on our servers or any remote third-party database. When you close or refresh your browser tab, ephemeral in-memory processing states are immediately cleared.

2. Local Storage and IndexedDB

We utilize client-side persistent browser storage mechanisms solely to enhance your local reading and user experience:

  • Reading History & Settings: Storing your current reading page, bookmark progress, font size, and color theme preferences via localStorage.
  • Offline Book Cache: Storing uploaded .EPUB or .TXT text in your browser's private IndexedDB storage so you can read seamlessly without re-uploading files.

None of this local data is ever transmitted to our servers or cross-referenced with your personal identity. You can permanently erase this data at any time through your browser's clear storage settings or via the in-app "Reset" controls.
